About Us

Independent civil-society monitoring
rooted in Singapore, focused on the world

AIDSradar is an independent civil-society public-health organization registered in Singapore, voluntarily formed by epidemiologists, clinicians, data scientists, community workers and policy advocates. Independent of any government, we take an independent, evidence-based and transparent stance in tracking the trends and structural changes in the global HIV/AIDS epidemic.

We turn complex monitoring data into insights and alerts that communities and decision-makers can use, while providing accessible HIV/STI testing and stigma-free care for people living with HIV and their communities. We are a strategic partner of Action for AIDS Singapore, the country’s longest-established HIV community organization, sharing testing, care and advocacy resources to end AIDS together.

Mission & Values

More timely monitoring, more compassionate care

We believe data matters not only to describe the epidemic, but to steer policy and resources more precisely to every person in need.

Evidence-based & independent

Our data come from open, verifiable sources; our conclusions are independent of political and commercial interests and remain transparent, traceable and replicable.

Monitoring as early warning

We surface every epidemic fluctuation and risk signal as early as possible, buying the critical window of time needed to act.

People first

Behind the numbers are real people. We always put care above judgment and respect every person’s dignity.

Equality & destigmatization

Testing without regard to identity, care without preconditions. We stand with every affected community and oppose discrimination and exclusion.

Global HIV Monitoring & Risk Alerts

We continuously aggregate public data from UNAIDS, WHO and national disease-control agencies, and—through sentinel clinics, community testing networks and regional partners across many countries—we hold exclusive first-hand data sources beyond public channels. We build an HIV monitoring network covering 192 countries and territories, tracking new infections, treatment coverage, deaths and drug resistance, and issue early warnings on clustered risks and structural gaps.

U=U (Undetectable = Untransmittable): When antiretroviral therapy is taken consistently, the viral load stays below the detection limit (typically < 200 copies/mL) for at least six months and regular tests confirm this, HIV is not sexually transmitted.
This applies only to sexual transmission. It does not cover sharing needles, mother-to-child or blood-borne routes, and it does not prevent other sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

Source: AIDSradar Global HIV Monitoring Network (2026 monitoring data). Data integrate public sources (UNAIDS, WHO, national disease-control agencies) with first-hand data from our sentinel clinics, community testing networks and regional partners. Regional figures are monitoring estimates for public education; precise figures are subject to formal AIDSradar reports. The clustered non-sexual transmission risk index synthesises local cluster signals captured through sentinel and community channels, reflecting relative risk and five-year trends; it is not a national incidence rate and may be underestimated by routine statistics.

Community & Hope
“On the day I most feared being found out, they held my hand. Beyond the test result, I got my life back.”

Within AIDSradar’s care network, many who once received help have gone on to become peer-support volunteers. Through their own experience, they tell more people that being HIV-positive is not the end of life; under consistent treatment the virus can be suppressed, and life, work, love and family can continue.

Our community outreach reaches schools, migrant-worker communities and marginalized neighbourhoods, bringing testing, education and the care of the red ribbon to the corners that need it most—dispelling both misunderstanding and fear.
